Exhibition Information

Show Dates: 12/10/2025 - 2/20/2026

Exhibition Reception: 2/7/2026, 2:00pm-4:00pm

Lee Mingwei's Our Peaceable Kingdom exhibition (on view through Feb 1st) at the Worcester Art Museum showcases multiple visual responses to Edward Hicks' painting of similar name, asking the question, "What is peace?". Our thought partner, the Center for Nonviolent Solutions, has worked to provide education and resources that help the Worcester community reject the use of violence for resolving conflict and understand nonviolence and peacemaking as a way of life. In the spirit of envisioning and creating a safe, healthy future, both organizations invite you to share your visual interpretation of the question, "What does peace look like in your community?"

The exhibition will be displayed in The Museum's Higgins Education Wing exhibition space and will be free and open to the public.
