Welcome

As a soon-to-be recent graduate of a masters or doctoral program in speech-language pathology and/or audiology, you are receiving this survey to help the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NJSHA) explore the reasons related to why students in Communication Disorders and Sciences choose to become or not become NJSHA members while in school and after graduation. Your candid responses will help us in achieving our strategic planning goals and in meeting the needs of members and potential members.

NJSHA is the premier state professional organization that empowers audiologists, speech-language pathologists, speech, language and hearing scientists and future professionals by providing resources and support to its members and those they serve through professional development/continuing education; advocacy; public awareness; and networking and mentoring. Its goal is to prioritize effective communication and the highest quality of life for all through professional excellence. NJSHA addresses the interests and needs of the varied working environments and specialty therapies our members conduct through our multiple committees. For a complete list of our committees, please visit our website www.njsha.org.

NJSHA is excited to inform you that as a new graduate, you are eligible for a special membership offer! Those who graduated from a masters or doctoral level program within the past year are eligible for a complimentary one-time NJSHA membership. This is NJSHA's gift to the graduate! Details will be provided at the end of this survey.

Thank you,
The NJSHA Membership Committee
