2027 NCFH Agricultural Worker Health Symposium Call for Workshop Abstracts

We are excited to announce that the Call for Workshop Abstracts is now open for the 2027 Agricultural Worker Health Symposium. The Symposium is designed to maximize learning, participant engagement, and the sharing of promising practices.
Interactive Workshop Sessions

We are seeking applications for 90-minute interactive workshop sessions designed to promote peer learning, participant engagement, and practical application. Each session may include up to two speakers: one primary speaker and one secondary speaker.

Workshops should actively engage participants and provide opportunities to apply new knowledge, exchange experiences, and learn from one another.

Presenters are encouraged to combine content presentations with interactive learning and facilitated discussion. For example, a session might include:

-30-minutes to introduce key concepts, strategies, or promising practices;
-45-minutes of interactive activities such as case studies, action planning, or small-group activities, etc.
-15-minutes for facilitated discussion, questions and shared learning.

This is a suggested format only. Presenters are encouraged to structure their sessions to best support their topic, learning objectives, and audience while creating an engaging and interactive experience.

Sessions should provide participants with practical knowledge, tools, and strategies they can apply in their work to better serve agricultural worker communities, address health disparities, and advance population health.
