Survey Assessing Current and Potential Capacity of International Community to Support Afghan at Risk in Exile |
Dear Colleagues,
Many of us have been involved in efforts to support our Afghan partners and their families at this dangerous and difficult time in Afghanistan. While we continue to focus on the urgent and immediate needs of Afghans at risk as they flee their country, we would like to begin the process of gathering information about the range of support options that may be available to them over the medium-to-long term—options that may enable them and other Afghans in exile to remain active in the struggle for democracy and human rights. We would appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes to complete the following survey regarding your institution and its potential to support Afghans at risk in exile. The purpose of the survey is to facilitate the sharing of key information among trusted partner institutions and among at-risk Afghans seeking support. As such, with your permission, we may share relevant survey data, where appropriate, with counterpart organizations providing support to democrats at risk, as well as with potential beneficiaries of that support.
