NHF Ethics Working Group Survey |
Survey by the National Hemophilia Foundation Ethics Working Group & Ethics Committee Alumni
Note: All responses are kept confidential.
The purpose of this survey is to determine if there is a need for the creation of a regional or local (city/state) ethics committee to assist you and your community with ethical dilemmas. Some of the benefits to having regional/local ethics committees include:
- Encourages collaborative problem solving among bleeding disorder healthcare colleagues
- Consultation with others who are familiar with local resources and local politics (via teleconference or in person discussions)
- Ongoing local ethics meetings to provide dialog concerning ethical cases (e.g. monthly, quarterly meetings)
The mission of the NHF Ethics Working Group is to foster integrity in our bleeding disorders community by encouraging ethical behavior and promoting awareness of ethical issues. Our Working Group is available to provide ethical education and assistance in establishing an ethics committee in your area/region.
