Seeking a skilled project based trainer to provide workshops on using the interactive whiteboard and person response system technology for NHDOE staff in Concord

The NH Department of Education is looking for a trainer to work with staff on the use of interactive whiteboard and personal response system tools. The training for NHDOE staff would consist of two half-day sessions, a week or two apart. The workshop would use a project based approach with a hands-on orientation to the essential skills needed to use interactive boards, personal response systems and accompanying software, the establishment of a project (an interactive slide show, survey of meeting participants, etc.) which individual staff would work on in-between the two sessions, and concluding in the second session with staff demonstrating their use of these tools, and asking follow up questions.

We want to offer these sessions in the morning and afternoon, so the trainer would be needed for two full days, with each workshop being repeated in morning and afternoon sessions. Participants could attend the initial half-day session on either the morning or afternoon of either day.

In between the first and second half-day sessions, on optional face to face and online Q & A and mentoring will be facilitated by a department staff member, with the trainer being available via email, if needed. Interested participants would get help refining their projects and ideas so that, when they come back for the second session, they are prepared to use the interactive classroom tools to develop and present an effective demonstration.
