Mayor Toni Harp has called upon the New Haven community to join together and make New Haven a City of Promise, Opportunity, and Innovation.

The City released the City Transformation Plan in January 2016 (read about and download the Plan here).  This plan is a living document that will be refined as we gain experience through implementation and engage the wider community more deeply in the discussion.

We hope to transform our city by expanding economic activity and job opportunities for residents, ensuring that all residents - children, youth, and adults - are healthy, thriving, and prepared for success in school and the workforce, and creating vibrant, safe, and cohesive neighborhoods and communities.

We are continuing to engage the community in this crucial work as we refine the plan in 2016.  Visit the Plan web site for more information and to learn how to get involved.  Please join the conversation now by telling us what you think of the Plan by sharing your ideas for improvement and detailing the issues that are most important to you and your community.
