Borough Council is considering a new series of Community Policy Workshops focused on important issues that regularly affect our community.
These workshops would provide an opportunity for:
• Council members to openly discuss ideas, priorities, and potential solutions.
• Residents to ask questions, share their experiences, and offer ideas and possible solutions.
• Borough staff to provide background information and explain current policies, challenges, costs, and other considerations.
• Council to receive additional community input before establishing policy direction and future priorities.
The topic for each workshop would be selected by Borough Council during a public meeting at least one month in advance, giving residents advance notice of the issue to be discussed and an opportunity to plan to participate.
The workshops would be held immediately following a regular Borough Council business meeting, generally beginning around 8:00 p.m., provided the regular meeting concludes within approximately one hour. Each workshop would focus on a specific topic and would be limited to 45 minutes.
