Mapi Language Services is an international company with a special interest in designing questionnaires to enable patients to self-report a clinical assessment. The company translates questionnaires to ensure that they are appropriate for different cultures and countries around the world.

We need your help to validate versions of 4 questionnaires designed for use in English-speaking Canada to determine if the wording is relevant and the expressions used will be understood.

Sapiens Strategies has been asked to conduct the interviews in Canada.

Respondents will be asked to first complete the questionnaires. Once they have filled in the questionnaire we will then go through it and discuss the ease of understanding and specific wording used. Because the questionnaires will eventually be used with people living with autism that have the ability to understand and answer questions, we need parents of people with autism that are high functioning.

The interview will be conducted in person either at your house or at another place we agree on.

In recognition of your contribution, we are offering a monetary compensation. In total the questionnaires have approximately 14 pages. We are not sure yet how much time it will take but are planning for two visits of 3 to 4 hours and are offering $500.
