Virtual meetings: How are we doing?

Introduction

Since March, most of the business world has experienced an unprecedented transformation in daily activities.  Working from home is the new norm.  The need to attend between 10 and 20 remote meetings or working sessions per week is becoming "normal". While this situation may be temporary for many, it will likely remain a new reality for others.  Many remote sessions are well structured and productive.  Others seem quite painful.  In addition, as children play in the background, participants press mute (one hopes) to change diapers, parents need to include home-schooling to their activities, phones ring, teenagers ask what food is available, dogs beg to go for a walk, and partners are also on a call a few feet away, a large number of people are required to accomplish the same amount of work as if they were in the office or at their work location.
Part of our role is to help individuals and groups increase their efficiency with virtual discussions which explains why this questionnaire is designed to take the pulse of the situation, find out more on what works, and identify areas that need attention.
A "session" is used to describe any individual event for which you had to dial-in to a conference call or sign-in to a web-based exchange for various reasons.
Contact information is not collected unless you specifically indicate that you would like further information.
