Haven for All - Rental Subsidy for Seniors

At United Way Northumberland, we are committed to supporting seniors in maintaining safe, stable, and affordable housing. Our Haven for All Rental Subsidy Program for Seniors provides financial assistance to older adults who are experiencing temporary difficulty in meeting their housing costs. This program is designed to help seniors remain housed and avoid displacement during times of financial hardship.

Eligible applicants may apply for a maximum of $900 in rental assistance. We understand that this amount may not fully cover all housing-related expenses, and applicants are encouraged to explore additional resources or supports as needed.

This subsidy is intended to serve as a short-term solution to help bridge financial gaps and promote housing stability. Applications will be reviewed and processed quarterly, and funding will be distributed based on need, eligibility, and available resources.
