NERDS-5: Strategies to Eliminate Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA)

NESCSO and the MES Community invite leading solution providers and industry experts to help shape the future of safeguarding public resources and advancing program integrity across state and federal health and human services.

As Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies increasingly foster cross-agency collaboration, NERDS-5: Strategies to Eliminate Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) expands the national focus beyond traditional Medicaid boundaries to encompass all HHS sister agencies.

We are seeking innovative thought leaders to present during our upcoming 45-minute virtual series running from November 2026 through February 2027. This is a complimentary opportunity to share operational methodologies, regulatory strategies, and emerging technology (e.g., AI/ML, predictive analytics) directly with key health and human services leadership—including State Medicaid and Sister Agency executives, Program Integrity and Compliance officials, Claims and Operations directors, Policy advisors, and Oversight teams.

Why Participate?
  • Direct Executive Visibility: Engage a dedicated audience of state officials seeking actionable strategies and solutions for complex operational challenges.
  • Pathway to In-Person Summit: Peer reviewers will evaluate all virtual sessions to select featured presenters for our exclusive Spring 2027 in-person gathering in New England (participation fees apply for the in-person event).
  • No Presentation or Membership Fees: Participation in the virtual webinar series is completely free of charge.
  • Protected Environment: Government participant lists remain confidential, and attendance is strictly restricted to government personnel to foster an open, educational atmosphere without competitor presence.

Application Window:
  • Opens: September 14, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET
  • Closes: October 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET

Notes:
