New England Chapter GAPNA ELECTIONS June 2021

Dear NEGAPNA Member,

It is time to cast your vote and select members for the Board of Directors for 2021-2022. Each candidate has made a personal commitment to serve NEGAPNA in a leadership role. Please view the candidates’ statements and biographical information below and follow the link below to then cast your vote.
1.President Elect:

Please provide the name of a candidate you would like to nominate. The commitment is 3 years and consists of 1 year as president-elect, 1 year as Chapter president, 1 year as past-president. 
2.Secretary: 2 year Term

Candidate: Pritika A. Patel, MS, FNP-C

My personal goals as a NP caring for geriatric patients are very much aligned with the mission of NEGAPNA. I am interested in running for the secretary opening on the NEGAPNA board of directors. I feel I am qualified for this position as I am highly organized and have served a similar role in another nursing organization in the past. Additionally, I am self-motivated and interested in expanding my leadership skills as well as being involved in expanding my reach as an advanced practice nurse
3.Director-at-Large (2-Year Term):

Candidate: Michelle DeBest DNP, APRN-BC

I have been a member in good standing for 10+ years and have enjoyed my previous terms working with the Board of Directors and Education Day Planning Committee. I would appreciate the opportunity to rejoin the board and be a part of continuing the incredible work that is being done to promote geriatric-focused education, scholarship, research and excellence in care. Former Chapter President in 2018-2019
