Below is a survey I’m doing for my own good. As many of you know, I’ve been hosting pastors conferences and retreats for ministers for about 20 years now, both on my own, and for publishers/denominational leaders as well.

Your privacy is 100% protected. No names are on this. And I’m not selling the results to anyone. This is for my own strategic planning efforts.

* 3. Regardless of your current season, do your best to look back on the last 5-7 years as a whole. How would you rate your overall level of burden or exhaustion.

* 4. Defining the soul as your “mind, heart, will, emotions, attitude, mindset” - Do you actively work on your own soul? That is, do you initiate intentional actions each year, or even each month, to replenish yourself for the sake of longevity? This would include hiring a coach or counselor. Taking intentional retreats. Prayer walks, etc.

If I had the opportunity to gather with small groups of other ministers in settings that were NOT networking, and NOT conference-based, but more geared toward creative, restful, and unique opportunities for personal development, and those events were completely justifiable to my board or church as helping me grow professionally and spiritually, and those events incorporated recreation like golf, fishing, hunting, shooting sports, hiking, or anything similar, I would take advantage of it.
