NDIS Survey

What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was established to provide services and support to people with disability nation-wide, including children with developmental delay or disability.

The NDIS Survey
The Early Childhood Education Directorate is hoping to gain more insight into how preschools view and understand the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) delivered and administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This survey asks how you think the NDIS will impact your service, your understanding of key terms, resources you may need to help navigate the NDIS, and preferred ways for information about the NDIS to be delivered.

What does the NDIA do?
The NDIA will:
·  Deliver the NDIS;
·  Manage, advise and report on the financial sustainability of the NDIS;
·  Develop and enhance the disability sector;
·  Build community awareness;
·  Manage data about disabilities and disability supports; and
·  Undertake research relating to disability, disability supports and the social contributors to disability.
