The MFAH is recruiting for a new cohort of Teacher Fellows from schools in Greater Third Ward to collaborate on the Neighborhood Collaborative Initiative. Neighborhood Collaborative (NC), seeks to make a significant investment in the Greater Third Ward neighborhood of Houston—a culturally diverse area that closely neighbors the Museum campus.
This cohort will represent K-12 interdisciplinary educators and meet with MFAH Educators to collaborate over two years to develop new tangible and virtual object-based learning modules.
In order to be eligible, you must be a current HISD teacher (ALL DISCIPLINES) in a third ward school with the intent to remain a current HISD teacher through 2026.
MFAH will select Teacher Fellows based on developing a collaborative diverse cohort of teaching experience, ideas, and demonstrated commitment to long term partnerships.
