2020 CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

April 14 - 16, 2020 | Atlanta, GA

Thank you for offering to share your time and talent with the child nutrition community in April 2020! Please complete the following workshop proposal application for the National CACFP Sponsors Association Conference April 14-16, 2020 in Atlanta, GA.
WAITLIST STATUS: Please note that workshops submitted after October 16, 2019 will be held in on our waitlist. 

For programming consideration, this application must be completed in full. Each presenter must have a biography completed.

The NCA conference committee will review all submissions submitted. Applicants will be notified of the status of their workshop proposals within a few weeks.

PRESENTING DETAILS
11.Workshop attendance at the NCA conference does not require pre-registration by attendees. Rooms will be set theatre-style and attendance may range from 25 to 400 depending on topic interest. Are you able to adapt your workshop to the expected attendance (which will be shared with you several weeks prior to the conference based on attendee surveys)?(Required.)
12.Rooms, as mentioned above, will be set theatre-style. If your presentation works better in another room set-up style i.e. round tables, classroom, demo equipment, etc., please list desired consideration for set up here.  
Charges may apply. Further requests can be emailed to conference@cacfp.org through December 31, 2019 or may not be accomodated.
13.All workshop presenters are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel and travel expenses. Workshop presenters who wish to attend the conference sessions and networking opportunities, will also need to register for the conference at registration fees in effect at time of registration.(Required.)
14.Workshop presenters should provide an adequate number of handouts based on the attendee workshop survey results emailed prior to the conference. Presenters are also asked to submit an electronic copy of their presentation and handouts in PDF format by Monday, February 17, 2020 for publishing on our website.(Required.)
15.Sales, product promotion, and commercial solutions are NOT allowed during general workshop presentations.(Required.)
16.Workshop date/time assignments are based on interest surveys of attendees so we do not schedule all high-interest classes at the same time. Please indicate your availability to present your workshop on Wednesday, April 15 or Thursday, April 16 of the conference.

Workshops with maximum flexibility will be given priority.

17.Workshop presenters will be offered standard audio-visual support which will include a podium microphone, projector, screen, and power cord. We do not provide computers for presentations, so please plan to bring your own.

18.Internet access for presenters and other A/V support may be available if requested when submitting this proposal. If your presentation will not work without internet or additional A/V support than the standard listed above, please enter your requests below. Internet cannot be provided for attendees.
