AGA 2021 National Collegiate Leadership Program Application

The 2021 National Collegiate Leadership Program will allow students to gain valuable one on one experience engaging with senior government leaders while learning more about careers in government financial management at AGA's Virtual National Leadership Training (NLT), Feb. 24–25, 2021.
 
AGA will select up to 20 students to attend AGA's virtual NLT 2021. Recipients will receive a scholarship to cover all registration fees. More details on special opportunities unique to National Collegiate Leadership Program awardees will be released as we pivot to our virtual event!

The application deadline is Dec. 11, 2020, by noon Eastern Time.
 
RECIPIENTS WILL
  • Be enrolled as an AGA E-Student Member, with an attachment to a local AGA chapter.
  • Be assigned an onsite mentor who will guide the recipient around the virtual NLT.
  • Learn from experts with real-world leadership experience in government and business.
  • Network with leaders who are passionate about public service and advancing government accountability.
  • Virtually meet and connect with potential employers (government and corporate).
  • Receive recognition during the event, including a certificate of participation.
  • Attend NLT sessions and earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
  • Receive an invitation to attend AGA's NLT 2021 Young Professional Session. 
  • Have headshots and short biographies displayed on the AGA National website.
  • Have the opportunity to be featured in AGA publications and social media.
  • *New Virtual Benefits: AGA "swag bag" mailed to home address, UberEATS voucher emailed to cover lunch for two days, recipient information sent to all AGA NLT 2021 sponsors for possible internships/job opportunities.
APPLICANTS MUST
  • Sign up for a student membership here.
  • Complete and submit the application on or before Dec. 11 2020, by noon Eastern Time.
  • Be a Junior or Senior accounting, finance, information security/technology, or business major, having completed 60 credit hours (or equivalent).
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
    Have at least a 3.2 GPA.
  • Display leadership experience on campus or through another affiliation.
