Background:

In March 2021, Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), which established the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. This fund helps local governments nationwide with COVID-19 pandemic recovery assistance. Waterford will receive $2.1 million in federal funding as a grant from ARPA. These funds must be used by December 31, 2024.
