Shaping the vision for Penrith Town Hall

Westmorland and Furness Council has secured £3 million in Levelling Up funding, and a further £500,000 allocated from the Borderlands Place Programme which could transform Penrith’s Grade II listed Town Hall into a vibrant creative and community hub.

It is the Council’s ambition to revitalise the venue into a place that will celebrate its history as a civic landmark, while reimagining its role for the future as a thriving space for culture, heritage, creativity, and enterprise – and we want to hear from you.

Residents, community groups, businesses, creative and cultural organisations, and visitors are invited to share their views through this questionnaire, helping shape the future of Penrith Town Hall by telling us what services, activities, and facilities you would like to see.

The feedback will help inform a business case and final design options, ensuring any redevelopment reflects the community’s aspirations while maximising the impact of external funding.

The survey will take five minutes to complete. We thank you for your participation.
