NAfME Professional Learning Programming Committee - Webinar Proposal Submission Process
Thank you for your interest in submitting a webinar proposal. Each proposal will be reviewed by NAfME's Professional Learning Programming Committee (PLPC), with additional review by NAfME's Equity Committee as needed.
TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS PLEASE:
- Complete all questions
- Provide an engaging overview description with learning objectives
- (Optional) Include a link to a 1-minute video highlighting key points about your topic and proposed webinar
- Include a link to a PDF version of your presentation slides or a detailed outline of your presentation
- Contact NAfME staff member Laura Reed by email at laurar@nafme.org after you have submitted this form: include your full name and email, the date of your submission, and the title of your proposed webinar.
NOTE: Prior to submitting your proposal, please review NAfME’s Strategic Plan and A Blueprint for Strengthening the Music Teacher Profession.
Your proposal will be reviewed based on the criteria below. The webinar:
1. Aligns with NAfME's Strategic Plan and/or the Blueprint;
2. Provides clear intent and learning objectives;
3. Includes best-practice instructional strategies and/or is supported by music education research;
4. Has content that is high quality, current, interesting, and relevant to a national audience of NAfME members/music educators;
5. Is engaging and well organized;
6. Uses diverse content as appropriate for the topic; and
7. Utilizes appropriate language (i.e., avoids gendered or deficit language, considers audience, uses inclusive language).
