PWN Strategic Planning - Member Insight Survey

Hello and thank you for taking this survey!

PWN-USA is currently engaging in a strategic planning process, and we can't do it without you! As a member-led organization, your voice is at the heart of this work. Your answers will help PWN-USA develop its strategic plan and shape what PWN should look like in the years ahead. We truly value your sincere input, and we respect your privacy. Your answers are confidential and will only be seen by the consultants we have brought in to help us through this strategic process. We'll combine everyone's answers together and report them as a group, so no one will be able to tell what you said.

The survey takes about 15–20 minutes to complete. After you finish the survey, you can choose to be entered to win a $100 gift card. We will collect your email address only to enter you in the gift card raffle and to notify the winners. If you are interested in participating in a focus group to share even more, please share your email address when asked. Your email will be kept separate from your survey answers, so your responses stay anonymous. You can use your work or personal email address.

24.Do you worry about involuntary disclosure or intentional disclosure by others when engaging in PWN-USA activities?

Involuntary disclosure — When your HIV status is shared without you choosing to share it. This can happen by accident — for example, someone lets it slip, or others find out in a way you did not plan or agree to.

Intentional disclosure — When another person chooses, on purpose, to share your HIV status. This means the choice to tell was theirs, not yours. It does not always mean they meant to cause harm — people sometimes share on purpose for reasons that are not bad — but you did not decide to share it yourself.
