VAND 2023 Award Nominations

The nomination deadline is midnight, April 2, 2023. You may nominate yourself or another person.

Each year the Vermont Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics invites its members to nominate individuals and organizations deserving of recognition. Details about the award criteria are available at https://www.eatrightvt.org/page/awards. Nominations must be received by midnight, April 2, 2023. We will follow up with you for additional information if necessary.

Recognized Young Dietitian (VAND member who has passed their RD exam after 1/1/2018)

Recognized Nutrition and Dietetic Technician (must be a current member of VAND)

Emerging Dietetic Leader (VAND member who became an RD between 1/1/2013 and 1/1/2018)

Outstanding Dietitian (VAND member recognized for 5 or more years of service to the organization or profession)

The Karen Newman Award (a Vermont-based dietetics professional or community member or organization that has had significant impact on the nutritional well-being of Vermonters. Considered a mentor or inspiration, has overcome adversity or helped someone else do so, and ha worked on behalf of underserved or disadvantaged Vermonters. )
