Purpose:
The chosen Apprentice will be awarded $2500 cash which can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards education-related expenses and/or general living expenses.

* 13. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

 1.       All applications must comply with any rules stated on the NAWIC website under WA Chapter Scholarships, the Application Form and in these general terms and conditions.

2.       Members of the NAWIC WA Chapter Council may not apply.

3.       NAWIC WA Committee Members may apply (excluding those involved in judging).

4.       NAWIC WA Education Committee will choose a judging panel comprised of NAWIC Committee members and, at its discretion, industry professionals external to NAWIC.  The judging panel will comprise of at least two judges to assess the applications received.

5.       The judges assessing the applications reserve the right to request further information and documentation from any applicant.  The judges also reserve the right to determine the eligibility or otherwise of each application or consider an application which does not fulfill all of the required criteria. 

6.       NAWIC and the judges reserve the right not to award a scholarship in a particular category where NAWIC and/or the Judges do not consider that there is an appropriate application suitable of being awarded the scholarship.

7.       The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8.       NAWIC reserves the right to extend the final date for applications to be submitted, or, in its discretion, to provide extensions to one or more potential applicants.  NAWIC is under no obligation to provide an extension to all applicants or publish any extension.

9.       NAWIC reserves the right to use any nominated promotion material or marketing material including photographs taken by NAWIC during any application presentation ceremony or event.

10.   All submission material remains the property of NAWIC unless the applicant requests the return of the documents after the application presentation.
