PLC Naturalization Clinic Event- November 28, 2018
The Public Law Center invites you to be part of our naturalization project by volunteering your time as a legal volunteer at our upcoming Citizenship Fair. Legal volunteers will help clients prepare citizenship applications. Your legal screening will provide clients with a sense of confidence about applying for naturalization.
Online Training is available for legal volunteers participating in our naturalization fairs in 2018. You must be an Attorney, Law Student, DOJ Accredited Representative or paralegal to take this training.
In-Person Training Topics include: Basic requirements of naturalization • Screening for "red flag" issues • Screening for "red flag" issues • Intersection of criminal law • Benefits and process of applying• What to expect at the fair• Completing applications in one day

Food & refreshments will be available throughout the duration of the event.
