There are 3 positions open on the NARPM Women's Council of Property Managers for 2026-2027. Council members are primarily responsible for planning and executing leadership webinars and NARPM's Annual Women's Conference.

The purpose of this council will be to focus on the development of leadership qualities in women. We want to help them become better businesswomen, speakers, and leaders in their communities as well as in the real estate and property management industries. While our focus will primarily be on women and women’s development, men are encouraged to attend women-led trainings, webinars, and breakout sessions to gain knowledge and insights on working with the women in their businesses and how they can help them grow as well.

The day to day operations of running a property management company are changing, including how we collect rent, maintain properties, do inspections, etc. With these changes, we can start to embrace the unique qualities women bring to property management. This is not solely about gender. There is power in connecting with one another; men and women alike can benefit from connecting. By connecting with one another we can shine a brighter light on and improve this industry, which is the main goal of NARPM and any of their members. Women tend to have fewer role models and mentors in the property management industry, and therefore can feel as if they need to conform to the traditional leadership model which can sacrifice her individuality and strengths. This is easily remedied by simply growing those who are ready to step into the leadership areas they were created for. If you are passionate about supporting women to achieve their personal and professional goals, this is the place for you.
