NARPA encourages Board nominations, including self-nominations, of candidates who support the NARPA mission.

NARPA's mission is to support people with psychiatric diagnoses to exercise their legal and human rights, with the goals of abolishing forced treatment and ensuring autonomy, dignity and choice.

To qualify to be considered for Board membership, the applicant must:

                               -have attended at least one NARPA conference
                               -commit to participating on monthly Board calls
                               -commit to advancing the NARPA mission
