Mission: To enhance the knowledgebase and value that each forum member brings to his/her firm and help members grow as capital markets professionals.
Forum Focus: The primary goal of the Capital Markets Forum is to facilitate open dialogue regarding the current landscape and emerging trends in the equity and debt capital markets so that forum members can enhance their knowledgebase and value that they bring to their respective firms. The secondary goal is to build a strong and supportive network of members within the CRE industry who each member can lean on when navigating obstacles throughout their careers, and go to for advice/opinions.
Membership Requirements:
- Active NAIOP Membership: Members must be active NAIOP members.
- Professional Experience: Member must have been in the CRE industry professionally for 10+ years, ideally serving in an equity or debt capital markets role.
- Meeting Participation: Attendance is required at three of the four annual meetings to remain in the Forum. Every member of the group should be committed to making the Forum the best it can be for their fellow Forum members and active participation is required.
- Commitment to Confidentiality: Strict confidentiality is required to enable maximum member benefit and full curriculum. Members must have the confidence and comfort to speak freely so peer members can recognize the benefit of the Forum.
