The National Assembly of American Slavery Descendants seeks to understand the experiences of  Black Families within the United States of America whose ancestry consists of Parents/ Grand-Parents born in the United States before 1968 AND whose lineage goes back to the formation of the United States in 1776. The purpose of this study is to learn how discrimination in the United States has impacted Black American lives through multiple generations and identify ways to repair harms through policy. Therefore, we seek to obtain your experiences and thoughts on issues that may help NAASD understand how to effectively advocate on the Federal level for Black Families.
