The use of hypertonic saline in acute paediatric respiratory

.Do you regularly use Hypertonic saline (HS) in treatment of acutely deteriorating respiratory patients?
.What are your indications for using hypertonic saline?
.What concentration of saline do you use (0.9%, 3%, 7%) and what factors/evidence would influence your decision making?
.Outside of physiotherapy recommendation do you find the wider MDT give saline nebulisers? If yes, what scenario/concentration does this tend to be and is this appropriate?
.What is the practice within your trust in regards to giving 0.9% saline nebulisers when on a humidified circuit?
.Are there particular populations where you would avoid using 7% HS?
.Do you always give salbutamol along side 7% Hypertonic saline?
