What is Danceworks Generations?
An intergenerational, inter-arts residency, that brings students and seniors together in collaborative partnerships, to create art, dance and build stronger communities.
The Generations program includes 12 sessions, November-April, led by Danceworks Teaching Artists, either in-person, livestreamed or in pre-recorded sessions to provide maximum flexibility to schools and senior centers.

Program Fee: $850 per classroom of up to 36 students; includes 12, hour-long sessions.

In-Person: A Danceworks teaching artist will work with your students in 12 in-person sessions to create one-of-a-kind artful postcards and Dance-o-Grams to share with senior pen pals. *Masks and appropriate physical distancing required.

Live-streamed Virtual: A Danceworks teaching artist will work with your students in 12 livestreamed Sessions to create one-of-a-kind artful postcards and Dance-o-Grams to share with senior pen pals.

Pre-recorded Virtual: Danceworks will provide 12 pre-recorded sessions for your students to create one-of-a-kind artful postcards and Dance-o-Grams to share with senior pen pals.

A combination of the In-Person, Livestreamed and Pre-recorded sessions, 12 sessions in total.
