Food Voucher Program

At the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis in March, the Irish Community Outreach Committee was formed and teamed up with The Irish Benevolent Society of Toronto to provide food vouchers to those having financial difficulties. The Irish Community Outreach Program has to date, helped over 100 applicants who are individuals or have dependent family members.

The Program has received financial support from the Government of Ireland, community organisations, businesses, and individual donors. We thank you all for your generous support.

This program is administered in a fair and equitable manner.   

The following are leading community and city organisations that provide a range of support services including advice on visa and passport applications,  employment opportunities and, physical and mental health.  We encourage you to review their services and contact them directly if needed, in addition to applying to the Food Voucher Program:
