This survey is to collect data and potential participants for The Robby Poblete Foundation’s “Work In Progress” program, which seeks to raise awareness about opportunities in skilled trades for high school students, young adults, and foster care youth who are nearing emancipation. Any personal information you provide, including name and contact information, will be shared only with the following organizations: The Napa Solano Building Trades & Construction Council, Napa Solano Central Labor Council, North Bay Apprenticeship Coordinators Association and the Solano Workforce Development Board - and only for the purposes of matching you with the right apprenticeships and/or events if you indicate an interest. Survey findings released to the public, such as the percentage of students who are interested in carpentry, construction, etc, WILL NOT INCLUDE any personal information and will be used only to show local trends in knowledge and interest in skilled trades. Other than the aforementioned organizations, your information will be kept completely confidential.
The Robby Poblete Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to reduce gun violence through gun buyback programs, transform unwanted firearms into instruments of hope through art programs, and increase opportunities for young adults and those in need of a second chance through its vocational program.
