Course Description
This course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in the ICS 100 and ICS 200 courses.
Selection Criteria
Individuals who may assume a supervisory role in incidents. Note: During a Type 3 incident, some or all of the Command and General Staff positions may be activated, as well as Division/Group Supervisor and/or Unit Leader level positions. These incidents may extend into multiple operational periods.

Course Objectives
Describe how the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Command and Management component supports the management of expanding incidents.
Describe the incident/event management process on a simulated Type 3 Team.
Develop an Incident Action Plan for a simulated incident.
While the class is scheduled to start *promptly* at 8:00, the room will be open starting at 7:30 AM.  Feel free to come early and beat any traffic!

Lunch/Breaks/Refreshments
Coffee, water, and snacks will be provided.
Lunch will be around 45 minutes. While lunch is not provided, there is a refrigerator and microwave available for use. There are many fast-food/restaurant options available.

Attendance
Each student is required to attend 90% of the class to receive the certificate. If you miss more than that, you will need to coordinate with the instructors to find another class to join or you may need to retake the entire course.

Please note: Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management reserves the right to prioritize registration and seating for agencies and partners located within Snohomish County. While we welcome participation from all interested parties, preference will be given to local partners to ensure regional preparedness and response coordination.
