ALCC application guidelines

Application deadline - December 17, 2021
Please read the application guidelines carefully. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an approved two or four year college horticultural or landscape related program in Colorado. Previous recipients may apply.

Applications must include:

  • This scholarship application completed in its entirety.
  • Two letters of recommendation; at least one has to be from an instructor.
  • A current transcript. Please indicate the grade point system used. In order to complete the application, send transcripts from the previous semester.
  • All items must be received by the application deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

A few reminders

  • Goals and work experience weigh heavily. Please include evaluations/letters from employers, internships, work study or any horticulture/landscape experience.
  • Complete applications are due to ALCC by end of day on Friday, December 17, 2021. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and in-person interviews will take place in January 2022.
  • To receive payment, proof of enrollment for the following term must be submitted. Checks will be sent to the recipient's college or university upon proof of enrollment.
