DRAFT Council Enhancement Recommendation
Regarding the Developmental Disability Registration and Review:
The Council has obtained stakeholder feedback through its DD Committee and Executive Committee to draft the following recommended enhancements to the Developmental Disability Registration and Review (DDRR). Stakeholder feedback which supported this process thus far has also included a DDRR workgroup of parents, individuals with disabilities, service providers, Stone Soup Group, and staff from the Division of Senior and Disabilities Services (DSDS). It is important to note that this document is pre-submission to DSDS. Following review of stakeholder feedback obtained from this survey, the Council will formally provide a recommendation regarding DDRR enhancements to DSDS. The Council appreciates your input being added to this collaborative work on an area of extreme importance for Alaskans with developmental disabilities.
