ASBMT 2018 Board of Directors Nominations

Please note that all nominees must be Full Members of ASBMT in good standing and meet additional eligibility guidelines. All nominations are subject to review and approval of the ASBMT Nominating Committee. Additional information on approved nominees, including CVs and explanatory statements will be required.

a) shall hold an M.D. or Ph.D. degree with demonstrated expertise in marrow transplantation
as evidenced by either (1) the publication of two papers on marrow transplantation-related research as

recorded by curriculum vitae

or

(2) documentation of two years of experience in clinical transplantation as recorded by curriculum vitae or letter

from the director of a transplant center attesting to the experience of the candidate;

and b) shall be of high moral, ethical, and professional standing.

* 1. I wish to nominate the following ASBMT Member(s) to serve as Vice President (one-year term) on the ASBMT Board of Directors. (Self Nominations are accepted.) Note: While the term of service is one-year, this position typically ascends to a one-year term as President-Elect, followed by a one-year term as ASBMT President and subsequently an additional one-year term as Past President. Nominees should be amenable to, and available for, a four-year commitment of service to the Society.

Vice President. The Vice President shall assist the President in the discharge of the duties of the President as the President may direct and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the President or the Board of Directors. In the absence of the President and the President-Elect, or in the event of their inability or refusal to act, the Vice President shall perform the duties of the President. The Vice President shall succeed to the office of President-Elect if a vacancy occurs in the office of President-Elect.
