We are transforming the vacant lot on 77th and Central Ave into a community hub for six months and want to hear from you about your vision for Central Avenue in our Florence-Firestone Community.
As part of Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell’s Corridors 2 Communities Initiative, Kounkuey Design Initiative (KDI) and Florence Firestone Community Organization (FFCO) are partnering with the Office of Supervisor Mitchell to host pop-up events with resources and services that the community wants to see over the next six months.
In addition to helpful services and resources, these events will include music, food, local vendors, and provide opportunities for community members to share their vision for Central Avenue, which will be compiled into a Vision Report that will be released in 2026.
Thank you for helping to shape the future of the Central Avenue Corridor. To learn more about Corridors 2 Communities, visit:
