Evidence Synthesis in Agriculture |
CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International), IICA (Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture) and Cornell University are interested in finding out how information technology is applied to synthesising research evidence in agriculture.
We are seeking to identify the methods, tools and support mechanisms currently being used by researchers and information practitioners for evidence synthesis (what we mean by this is activities such as reviews, systematic reviews or meta-analysis reviews). We also want to identify the challenges and obstacles that prevent or obstruct the synthesis of agricultural evidence at a greater scale.
Our aim is to drive improvements in how agricultural research is synthesised in practice, so that, ultimately, we can increase both the scale and quality of evidence for practitioners and policy-makers.
We may share the anonymized findings of this survey with the user community at various conferences and events to help identify further appropriate activities.
