PCP 2020 Member Survey

Hello! Thank you for your continued support of the Portland Civic Players, we are most grateful, especially in these challenging and unprecedented times.

The Portland Civic Players have been part of the Portland community since 1955 and are completely self-supporting. We rely on membership and play income for our existence. A few things your membership gift helps support are:
● Theater utilities and maintenance.
○ (Approximately $10,000.00 annually)
● Production fees, including royalties & scripts, music, costumes, sets, props, sound, stage lighting, and special effects.
To give you a general idea of the costs of a production, below are approximate production costs for our 2019 Season:
■ Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville $4,770
■ The Wizard of Oz $11,721

We also fund scholarships, our popular Youth Summer theater program and provide affordable, live family entertainment.
