INTRODUCTION

As part of the AHA’s ongoing efforts to support our members’ interest in innovation and transformation, we are excited to announce the inaugural AHA Leadership Summit Startup Competition. This event will support the innovation efforts of our members while giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their solutions to hospital and health system leaders in attendance. Join us on July 25 at our annual AHA Leadership Summit, as the AHA Center for Health Innovation hosts a startup competition featuring six early-stage companies that have all developed practical, tactical innovations. Each startup will be selected to present in the competition in part by its ability to quantify savings or otherwise demonstrate an ROI for hospitals. To help orchestrate and manage the competition, we are partnering with the Furthur Fund and leveraging its unique screening and vetting process to present the most relevant solutions to attendees.
