CEDV Survey - Partner & Stakeholder

CEDV Stakeholder & Partner Survey

CEDV (the Council to End Domestic Violence) is a body of senior public officials and community leaders that guides a coordinated community response to domestic violence and advises the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Your responses will directly inform the strategic framework and priorities CEDV develops over the coming months. Please answer as candidly as possible — there are no wrong answers.
1.What's working well in how CEDV functions as a system - advocating, providing support, and creating impact?
2.What systems gaps or weaknesses exist for people affected by domestic violence? Where does our system or community fall short in supporting survivors of domestic violence?
3.What do you wish existed to better support people in our community who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence? From a systems or high-level perspective, what could be improved that the CEDV might be able to advocate for, help implement, or help coordinate?
4.What organizational or external challenges should CEDV be paying attention to in its advocacy and coordination work?
5.Given CEDV's role guiding a coordinated community response to domestic violence and advising the Board of Supervisors, what do you think CEDV's priorities should be over the next three years?
6.If CEDV could change one thing about how Fairfax County's systems address domestic violence, what should it be?
7.Is CEDV a place for community? How might the CEDV obtain diverse community voices about their perspectives on, and experiences with, domestic violence?
8.What shifts should the CEDV make in how it operates, advocates, or provides coordination and support going forward?
