The Vermont Farm & Forest Viability Program, a program of the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, has grants of $5,000 to $50,000 are available on a competitive basis to Vermont farmers for water quality related investments. These grants are designed to help farm businesses undertake projects that improve on-farm water quality, help farms comply with water quality regulations, and improve overall farm viability. All awards require a 1 to 1 match, and grantees will be reimbursed upon the completion of the project.
Applications are due January 19, 2024 and decisions will be announced in April 2024.
