The AAST Awards recognize members in good standing for their professional excellence, service and commitment to the association and to the sleep technology profession. The 2026 Awards Nominations period is now open through February 8, 2026.

AAST Awards are presented to members in good standing who are highly regarded in the sleep technology field and possess attributes that align with the AAST strategic goals. Criteria for each award can be found under each respective award below.

Nomination Requirements:
Nominations must be submitted by an AAST member. Nominators are required to complete the AAST Awards Nomination Form and provide supporting documentation to the AAST by February 8, 2026.

Selection Process:
Nominations will be evaluated by the Awards Selection Committee, in accordance with the AAST Awards requirements.

AAST Leadership Award: this awards honors and recognizes an AAST member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities through commitment to the growth and development of the AAST.

AAST Service Award: this award honors and recognizes an AAST member who has made significant contributions to the advancement and development of the sleep technology profession.

AAST Professional Development Award: this award honors and recognizes an AAST member who demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing education in sleep technology.

AAST Literary Award: this award honors and recognizes an AAST member for an original published article, paper, industry blog, or textbook chapter that represents excellence in technical literary writing by a sleep technologist.
