Purpose of this Group:This 6-week short-term group is a safe and affirming space for 2SLGBTQ+
individuals(18+) to explore what healthy relationships look like.
This is not a therapy group, we are taking an educational approach through a mental health perspective to cover topics such as communication, boundaries, conflict resolution, attachment styles, and navigating relationship dynamics specific to our community (e.g., cisnormativity, minority stress, polyamory/ENM, and chosen family).
Group Expectations:
- Confidentiality: What is shared in the group stays in the group.
- Respect: We honor all identities, relationship structures (monogamy, non-monogamy, etc.), and experiences.
- Participation: You are encouraged to share, but you have the right to pass at any time.
- Attendance: Consistent attendance is required for group cohesion
Before applying please be aware that...
- This group is a skill-building space, not a therapy group. The focus is learning practical tools for the present rather than processing past emotions or traumatic experiences. Participants can expect to receive resources to support individual healing, growth and learning.
