Murray Arts are working with agencies to assist our creative community with bushfire recovery. If you are professional artist, a creative business, museum, gallery or collective living or operating in the Murray Arts footprint, Towong Shire Council, Greater Hume Council, Indigo Shire Council, City of Wodonga, AlburyCity and Federation Council and have suffered direct impact from the bushfires we want to hear from you.

We also ask that arts organisations and schools let us know their needs in relation to carrying on workshops and arts education. If you are a cultural tour guide or the keeper of a cultural place, please also complete the survey.

Murray Arts will confidentially collate information to pass on to other agencies and assist in evaluating and assessing the needs of our creative community. This will hopefully lead to assistance that is genuinely useful to you.

We appreciate that this situation is not over, and we understand that it is a long road to recovery. Examples of loss may include materials or instruments, infrastructure, portfolios, collections or bodies of work.

At this stage, this is not an offer of direct assistance, but any information you can provide will help agencies determine what is the best way to help you get back on your feet. Hopefully it will speed up the process.
