Introduction

The Active and Well After Breast Cancer Victorian pilot project involved the development of a 12-week gentle physical activity program, Pinkmoves. Pinkmoves is a temporary working name for a gym-based program designed for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pinkmoves was based on the successful Heartmoves exercise program model, a low to moderate intensity exercise program designed for people living with health conditions. The Pinkmoves program may further develop to encompass other cancer types in the future.

The Pinkmoves program was a successful component of the pilot and involved:
· 2-3 weekly group exercise sessions held by a specifically trained Pinkmoves leader.
· A fortnightly health and wellbeing information session delivered by BreaCan.

BCNA is working in partnership with YMCA, BreaCan and the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre to make Pinkmoves available to women across Australia.

To ensure all women can benefit from the valuable information sessions, we will also be developing a series of online health and wellbeing information resources.

It is really important to us that we meet the needs of our members. For this reason, we have developed this brief survey to determine:

Section 1 A program name (to potentially replace the temporary working name, Pinkmoves)
Section 2 Relevant health and wellbeing topics you would like the online resources to cover

For any enquiries regarding this survey, please contact Steph Fletcher, Active and Well Programs Officer, (03) 9805 2541 or email communityprograms@bcna.org.au.
