Motorist-Cyclist signage feedback

In order to foster more positive interactions between cyclists and motorists, Boulder County has recently piloted two new types of signage on several county roads near Hygiene and Lyons.  These new signs explain existing state laws, but do not create or amend any state laws.
We would like to evaluate how these signs are perceived by the public and gauge their effectiveness.  Please take a few minutes to fill out this short survey.
1.Have you noticed either of these signs on roads near Hygiene or Lyons?
2.Do you think these signs convey a clear message?
3.What message does the sign on the left convey?
(3 FEET MINIMUM)
4.What message does the sign and the placard on the right convey?
(WHEN SAFE MAY CROSS SOLID YELLOW TO PASS BIKES)
5.Do you think these signs will lead to more positive interactions between cyclists and motorists?
6.Do you have any other feedback about these signs?
7.Were you previously aware that Colorado state law requires motorists to give cyclists at least 3 feet of clearance when passing, but also permits motorists to cross a double/ solid yellow line (otherwise a no passing zone) when it is safe to do so and does not interfere with oncoming traffic?
8.In addition to these signs (which are mainly directed at motorists), Boulder County Transportation continues to do outreach to cyclists via cycling organizations and clubs about cycling behavior (when to take the lane, when to ride single file, etc.).  Do you have any other suggestions for how we can more effectively message to either cyclists or motorists?
9.If you would like us to follow up with you about your feedback, please provide your contact information.
