Welcome!
The Interprovincial Ministry Transformation Task Force, convened by the Provincial Elders’ Conferences of both the Northern and Southern Provinces in March 2026, has been researching, developing, and sharing tools to support transformational ministry throughout our congregations and ministry settings.
As part of this work, we are seeking input from congregations and ministries across both Provinces of the Moravian Church in America. The information gathered will help inform the recommendations we make to the Provincial Elders’ Conferences and District Boards at the conclusion of the task force’s work.
To assist in this effort, we have incorporated, with permission, a portion of the Congregational Vitality Survey developed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (© 2015). This survey provides a simple self-assessment that will help us gather baseline data on the vitality of our congregations and ministries.
By participating, you will help us better understand the strengths, opportunities, and challenges present across our churches. The data collected will be used to support recommendations and strategies for fostering transformation, renewal, and growth throughout our congregations and ministries.
The deadline for responding to the survey is Saturday, October 31, 2026.
It is our goal that each participating congregation and ministry will receive an individual report summarizing its results, along with a broader report providing an overview of congregational vitality across both the Northern and Southern Provinces. We anticipate sharing these reports by early 2027.
NOTE: Completing the survey may take 5-10 minutes. It would be best to complete it in one sitting. However you are able to return to the survey if necessary. Also, the replies on this survey remain anonymous and confidential.
