Introduction
Dear participant,
Septic shock remains one of the leading causes of death in critical care globally, with disproportionate challenges faced by low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Resource limitations, variability in access to pharmacologic therapies, monitoring tools, and supportive treatments all influence outcomes and clinical decision-making.
This survey aims to systematically assess current practices, barriers, and expert opinions regarding the management of septic shock in LMICs. Your participation will help us:
Map real-world practices and resource availability
Identify gaps in care and opportunities for targeted interventions
Understand areas of clinical uncertainty and practice variability
Support the development of regionally appropriate expert consensus statements and future guidelines
